Where was the snow that “they” promised?
You know, “The most terrible storm”?
Undaunted, we went to hear stories
And imagined ourselves to be warm
Aha! Now there’s an idea!
Give kiddos their fanciful flight
Set loose their wild imaginings
From our darkness make room for their light
So be it a pigeon and a puppy
Or some babies on an afternoon crawl
Or even a copycat duckling and chick
Let all stories keep us enthralled
Sing After Me (Echo Song)
Note: There’s no story time next Saturday, but I’ll be back at The Common Cup on January 3rd at 9:30 AM.
