Aunt Judy brought this Channel Craft toy back from Seattle about 2 weeks ago.
We haven’t stopped playing with it since.
At first, I was a little skeptical that Nick could figure out how to put the right spin on the top. But he’s a regular pro. I, on the other hand, have yet to master this fine motor skill.
Maybe he has a future in marketing…or politics.
Spin. Watch. Repeat.
This is good for at least 10 minutes, which is eons in toddler-time.
Note: It’s called a “lucky penny top” for a reason – there’s a penny in the center.
So if your kiddo is prone to putting random objects in their mouth – or say, a previously-mentioned aunt convinced a previously-mentioned child to eat his lunch by putting “coins” (food) in the “bank” (mouth) – then you’ll want to watch them with this toy, because swallowing a “lucky penny” wouldn’t really be, you know, lucky.
