3 little mice
Found 6 new shapes
And with 6 shapes
Made 3 BIG mice

3 BIG mice
Scared 1 hungry cat
Leaving 1 piece of cheese
For 3 little mice

Note: Ellen Stoll Walsh does it again, this time with shapes. The mice do more than just introduce different shapes. They also combine the shapes to become everyday objects.

square + triangle = house
rectangle + triangle = tree
oval + 2 circles + 8 triangles = fish

Combine this book with Jim Arnosky’s Mouse Shapes and Ed Emberley’s The Wings on a Flea and your kiddos will really be ship…shape.
