Book: Nibble Nibble

There’s a mouse in my heart
And his name is Nick
Each time we read this poem
My voice grows thick

We’ve bid the moon goodnight
And found the runaway bunny
Now we settle into sleep
Until the night turns sunny

Note: There are 2 versions of Margaret Wise Brown’s book – the original 1959 publication and a reillustrated reissue in 2007.

I am partial to the first.

Open the book to a random page and start reading. If your kiddo doesn’t like the first poem you find, flip to another. Eventually, they’ll find something they want you to read to them again…and again…and again…Enjoy. 😉
